My Brother

I remember when you were born and the cry of life; and our bunk beds with you on the top; and your inquisitive questions of my teenage years. I regret the age gap between us and the fact that I could not share more of your life in your teenage days and later. That regret is tempered by the close and wonderful friends and family that you have. Family events, and there were many, brought us together to catch up on our lives, drink, joke and enjoy ourselves and for that I am thankful. In the last few years we enjoyed our chess, playing and discussing games. I really miss that. Finally your brave and courageous fight for life in the last nine months left me humbled but proud of you, my wonderful Brother. Miss you
